help on gettin out of weight loss plateau?
hey guys. I am 16 years old, weigh about 142. around 5′11. I lost about 27 lbs and am lookin for more. I used to exercise on the machine where u would use your arms and legs, almost like a cross country skiing thing. and treadmill. I eat very good also and i do weight training. But now ive been at a plateau for about 3-4 weeks. On monday i started a new plan. I am eating more fiber and protein and more towards whole grain rather than regular carbs. My new plan is to do 40 mins on the stationary bicycle at my gym and continue weight training. Anyone know if that will help me break out of the plateau? if not, any suggestions? Thanks.

Check yourself with a Caliper test. You may be reaching a point were you are seeing your muscle replace your fat.
Remember to vary your routine.
To break plateau’s, i find it useful to give up the normal cardio and replace it with HIIT, then after a week or two, go back to regular cardio and it should continue.
You have to cut calories or burn more off.. How often do you do the stationary bike? Maybe throw an extra one in there every week.
Switching up your workouts and changing your diet a little is exactly what I was about to recommend. I think it will help a lot. Good luck!
