Possibility of foreign military training?
If I enlisted in the US military as a Ranger or a SERE specialist would I be able to take foreign military training, i.e. Belgian jump school, Finnish jump school/ski warfare school, British paratrooper/SAS, ect.?
My uncle was a Ranger and went through a bunch of foreign military schools, but that was in the early 70’s so I was wondering if it had changed or not.

There are some military liaison positions that are advertised every year that you can apply for. Usually these have a certain grade or rank requirement as well as a whole host of other requirements that you must have in order to apply. These positions are with NATO countries and are usually a year or more. Before IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM there were a number of joint military exercises that were held annually or bi annually with some of the NATO countries also. Because of the high ops tempo and lack of resources these have all been suspended for the most part. While you would get some training in these exercises it was really more to gain experience with interphasing and working with each other rather than the highly specialized training that you mention in your queston.

Yes eventually. And if you were to be stationed in Hawaii you would work with the Filipinos and australians
I think the marines have join exercise with allied nations, that could be several times in a year.
