How do you tighten the bindings on downhill skis?
I have a pair of skis and when i got them i wasn’t a very good skier but since going out west I’ve become a lot better but i need to get my bindings tighter so my skis don’t come off.

As you become a better skier, your ability level changes, from a type I (beginner), to type II ( learning/intermediate), and finally type III (advanced/ expert). This affects your DIN setting. Take your gear to a shop, and fill out the required info ( height, weight, age, ability level, and boot sole length) accurately.
Take them to the local ski shop with your boots, get a shop tune and binding adjustment. The skis will perform better, your edges will be sharp and the bindings will be adjusted for your height, weight and ability. Binding release at the proper time is critical, at the wrong time dangerous. It can be the DIN setting or the forward pressure or the length. The shop knows what to do and how to do it. $40 is cheap leg breaking insurance.
bindings are very difficult to tighten/ loosen on your own so your best bet would probably be to take them to your ski shop of choice and get an adjustment, because without it you can only move them about 1/2 in.
