Is it difficult to become a ski patrol?
I am a good skier and know that I meet those qualifications. I know that often require EMT training. But it's hard to get hired?
I've been a volunteer and paid ski patrol for 15 years and my experience varies the mountain. The larger, "big name" mountain experience or expect EMT certification. Many medium-sized mountains are sufficiently big to make job training and the struggle to find employees. If you are interested in the California Sierras, June Mountain hires think so (but do not quote me). The best way to contact with the PSN in Denver and ask that you connect with an OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care) class that will begin this fall in your area. (It is an EMT training ski patrollers.) With OEC or EMT can start in a half-size mountain without having to train on the job (which means it is a grunt worker dragging sleds around for your first year). Good luck and answer your question "Is it difficult to be hired" … the answer is "no." No establishments are paid well for dealing with a lot of turnover and we are always looking to hire.

I have a pair of skis and when i got them i wasn’t a very good skier but since going out west I’ve become a lot better but i need to get my bindings tighter so my skis don’t come off.

I am on a ski team and i need to start training for the season and lose some extra belly fat and i was wondering if anyone knew how many reps and sets i should do per day on my skiers edge machine or for how long i should do it for. Anything helps. Thank you!
